IDEA Multiplier Event in Valencia

On the 27th of January, we had the multiplier event that took place in Gandía, Spain, and it was organised in person at the University Campus of the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Gandía. We chose this place because it is well related to entrepreneurship, thus, in this campus of the University of Valencia, the degrees that are carried out are related to the business world, or, in any case, can serve as a basis for starting a possible business, in addition to having an important headquarters dedicated to entrepreneurship (which is called IDEA UPV). It lasted approximately 5 hours and was attended by 52 people.

The aim of this event was to present the results of the project to the public and to present the main results of this project:

– Mobile report on entrepreneurship education and demand for entrepreneurial skills according to enterprises.

– Interactive toolkit supporting the development of adult educators’ skills to boost entrepreneurship among NEETs.

The partners were very positively surprised by the enthusiasm and the high level of participation shown during the event. They showed great interest in the results of the project.

We had an open discussion among the participants, in which they talked about the lack of resources that youth trainers sometimes find to encourage young people to become entrepreneurs, especially NEETS, who sometimes have very little motivation, and this is a big obstacle.

The participants were mostly representatives of organisations related to youth and entrepreneurship, such as the Association of Self-Employed Workers, the International Institute of Competences for Social Development (IICDS), Lanzadera de Empleo, IDEA UPV and university students who were interested in developing a business.
